      Hi Christabel,

I found out about medical engineering when I was in my third year of University, I was kind of gutted I hadn’t heard of it before because it is so cool.
We design things that doctors use to help people get better.
This can be scanners for diagnosis such as MRI machines.
It can new ways of delivering medicines – such as creams for burns.
It can be tools people use such as wheel chairs.
And I work on making new bones, so it can be things that go in the body like pacemakers.
