I'm a 32 year old Chartered Engineer working for an automotive supplier
I live in Maidstone, Kent, with my wife and 2 children (5 and 1), and my cat Maggie.
I lead a team which tests car, bus and lorry engine parts to make sure the engine won't break down.
My Typical Day: I arrive at the office between 7:30 and 8am, start by checking for any emails that have come in that night, and then normally have 1 or 2 meetings with some engineers at our factory in China. Then I speak to my team, look at their work with them, and have some lunch. In the afternoon, I might go and take apart some pumps, have a look under a microscope for any damage, and make some presentations with my findings.
