GCSE’s, A-Levels, MEng in Aerospace Engineering followed by an MSc in Systems Engineering

Work History:
I started out with a Saturday job in a large outdoor retailer, during my undergraduate I spent a year working on the structure of the Airbus A380, I have been with my current employer working on military aircraft since I graduated, working on various aircraft mechanical systems.

I am originally from Yorkshire, but now I live in Lancashire with my wife and two young boys. When I’m not at work I enjoy relaxing with the family and I love being outdoors, biking running, walking to name a few. In the past I have run a few half marathons and walked trails nearly covering the length of Scotland.

My Work
I work on aircraft fuel systems, essentially my job requires me to make sure fuel is delivered to the aircraft engines in all operating conditions, providing the aircraft with the thrust to generate lift.

What's the best thing you've done in your career?
Fixed problems that I know have caused issues to Pilots and Maintainers.
What or who inspired you to follow your career?
When my parents took me to visit family in Australia when I was 11, it was the first time I had flown on an aircraft and I loved it.
What was your favourite subject at school?
Geography was my favourite, but I also enjoyed maths and science

A Pilot

Mexican or Thai

Travelling and getting married
